OUTFIT// EXTRA TRANSITIONAL

If you've been on the 'gram - you've seen ALL of LA post "Fall-ish" photos because somehow the weather is under 75 degrees. But let's keep it real, although it's 50 something in the morning and 48 something at night, it still gets up to 69 dog-gone degrees at 2PM, so....

Crazy dressing ensues!

What you see here is as transitional/schizophrenic as dressing gets without looking MESSY. This is an Alexander Wang cropped sweater worn with leather shorts, a kimono style cardigan and ye ol Gianvito Rossi pumps.

First the sweater and shorts. Is there anything less practical than a sweater (meant to keep you warm) being cropped? But do we care? NOPE! In fact when the goal is to be warm enough but not too damn warm, this puppy does the trick!

READY FOR A CROPPED SWEATER? ALL PRICE RANGES HERE!

These are my favorite leather shorts - they're from a Japanese men's brand (you know me honey, shopping in the men's dept) AGAIN this is a transitional piece... why? Leather shorts are too hot for the summer, yet they're shorts so kinda' not right for the Fall/Winter.

So right tho'!

KILLER LEATHER SHORTS FOR ALL BUDGETS

The kimono style cardigan - very warm and goes on and off throughout temperature changes.

Pattern play anyone? Oowwww!!

KIMONO COAT OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE!

CAGED PUMPS

Super transitional flow!!!!!! What say you?

THE RIGHT UNDER GARMENT: RACER BACK EDITION

The story goes like this: I'm wearing an easy tank top and jeans. Yay!

It's a racer back tank and I want to take my jacket off. Normal enough.

BUT, I've struggled to find the right bra with straps that'll tuck themselves perfectly under the racer style. Yeah, me and every other woman on the planet! I've tried the strapless (but it falls) the criss-cross bra (but it doesn't quite line up with my tanks) I've done the lacy bra (but it clumps in the front)

My solution: don't fight the racer back. Find an under garment that turns the racer style into an opportunity for embellishment!

My extra-special tip is to find a bikini top for this purpose! It'll be smooth under your tank and sturdy enough to hold your girls up.  And what do I mean by turning this into an opportunity? This braided strappy piece actually ADDs design to the look. Check the deets...
