Well, well, well. Here's an outfit to look at. This puppy is all about proportion. What you see here are boxy shorts with a sleeveless quasi-cowl-meets-turtle-neck top with a mesh jacket. Woof.

Kicking it off with these extremely boxy printed shorts, that most people would say have an "un-becoming fit". But the boxy moment is what we're going for today. Shorts, check!

THEN... to balance it (or make myself bottom heavy, not sure what you think) went with this sleeveless action. See how the loose fit of the top meets the short's boxiness? But I'm still socking it ya' with a lot of arm. Works.

But what happens when I want to show my arms, but also want the comfort of being covered, and need to add a wwwiitttle bit of boxiness to my upper half to (actually) balance the look? MESH JACKET it is!

Showing skin? Yes. Showing too much skin? No. Adding some sportiness to mirror the sporty shorts? Yes.

The top has a lovely draped/ruched neck. A touch of feminine in the mix.

Dunzo, malunzo!

You know what? A girl's gotta' work and it's taken me off the face of the planet. But here I am. To all the peeps who asked me where I've been: A LOT of things are happening. I've been running a handful of productions, I've re-designed the website (hope you like it) aaannnnd etc.

To those of you who want me to SHADDAP and get to the outfit already, here you go!

What you see here is a minty/green jumper, under a green leather sleeveless button up, under an aviator inspired green leather jacket. Are we feeling a theme here? Spring, green and leather.

Obvious note to world: it's IMPOSSIBLE to be on a production in heels all day. Also, flats are too flat. That's why I have and will continue to embrace styley sneakers. "Styley" is a technical term, of course.

What's under the jacket? THIS.

It's the little things... a peak of the jumper sleeve under the button up. Or the paneling of the leather.

"But, but, but wait it gets worse!"  If you don't know this 90's rap lyric reference. Watch dis. Here's the jumper.

Truly, not all jumpers are created equal. That's why I may or may not cringe when people say they love jumpers. The truth is that the "rules" of fit and taste come into play, even with a cozy number like this. Check out the architectural sleeve. The play with sheer paneling. Also - this is 1 size too big. On purpose.

That's that jack. Leave me comments why dontcha'?
