Work work work, that's what I've been doing. Here's a quick outfit post from the 'gram featuring a BOLD FLAT. Essentially it's the wardrobe refresh to bump up your lewks in an easy way. The shoes are Chloe, found on super sale many years ago.

Flat + bold = easy outfit BUMP!

The outfit on it's own is nothing to write home about... but with the shoe? Boom!

Something weird happened recently. I bought a pair of short jean shorts. Where in the history of life have you seen me in short, shorts? Who is this person?

I'm the one who wears men's shorts. All the time... on purpose. Baggy, Drop-crotched, diaper bootied, over-sized shorts.

And then, this happened.

Shop The Shorts!

Really tho? Me being who I am, tried to hide under a vest which is, you guessed it: 2 sizes too large. This is what it looks like "un-zooshed"

It's supposed to be tied around the waist for a kimono effect, like so:

Pretty fresh... but "too much tuna" (those that know, KNOW) But I've got a bright idea! I'm gonna' take that built in belt, tie it behind me to keep the jacket perma-open in an "effortlessly easy" folded look.

Here's the knot. You won't see from the back or side and from the front, it'll look good.

With the knot in place, the vest pretty much stays in this position all day.

The top underneath is an ATM knit piece. Lovely, no?

Get ready for a total annihilation of your sense of sight with this outfit post - which is really JUST a t-shirt and shorts. But LAWD are they loud and LAWD why did I put them together? The full look!

The answer is because I could and because I believe in the print mix, NOT as a trend, but as a way to have fun with the your wardrobe. It can also be therapeutic. More on that later.

Is it a lot of look? Yes. Is that the point? Yes. Sometimes clothing is about being loud. On those shy days when I want to "disappear" into my clothing. I usually sike myself up to do the opposite. I end up in something like this that FORCES me to face the world.

Tucked in the tee to give shape to an otherwise square shirt. Although these prints are different, they are both tropical with the same color way (different temperatures)

The famous Chloe sandals bought on super sale in Milan to anchor the look. BUT they alone are a lot of look. Nothing shy going on here.

No jewelry is the only option with this look, no?

What do you to be loud on certain days? Talk to me Goose (Top Gun reference, get into it!)

Olive green, army green, military green, how many items of the same color family can I put on my body? Let's count em'! Here's the full look:

First layer: a silk tank and shorts. Please note the overall rule to this look... it ain't got to match, it just has to "go".

Second Layer: another silk, this time long sleeved. Purpose of this layer: coverage. Check all the great design deets too!

Hanging pieces, oversized sleeve, epaulets, normally I'd say this is too many things, but the basic layer NEEDS a push.

Third layer: a directional vest. Purpose of this layer: provide shape and structure. Otherwise, I'd be drowning in a sea of silky loose vibes. Nothing wrong with that, but I think this is stronger.

Fourth layer: a scarf. Purpose of this layer: pop of color and playing with length. Without this scarf I'd be a green machine. With the scarf there's more dimension.

You know what time it is!

PS - I DO have a hat I could have thrown on, but I think we'd all agree I've got plenty "look" going as it is! Am I the only person still doing the head to toe monochrome looks? Talk to me.

A bohemian moment of matchy-match-ness, set sliiightly un-matchy with a printed button up.

You know the thinking: same color family creates a relationship between the button up and the other elements.

I mean... busy? Maybe. A joy to wear? Fo' sho.

Want a jacket? Here's a jacket. A men's waterproof field jacket to be exact.
