I always say "wear your stuff... don't save it for special occasions"  


I wore these two pieces on my birthday a couple years back and haven't worn them together since. In my mind the look is "too much" (for me) because it's print on print and super short AND boxy... which is many things to overcome. Hence, it was appropriate for night time dancing and NOT daytime. BUT...

Gotta' practice what I preach.  So: 

What you see here is a very boxy, cropped button up, in a wild Kenzo print. Check out the cool shape from front to side.

Yes, you're right this shirt makes me look short. BUT I paired it with high-waisted shorts that show A LOT of leg. The hope is that I'm off-setting the oompa-loompa vibes with Victoria Secret legs. That's the thinking at least. Shaddap.

The print mix is obvious, but check out the folds of these beautiful shorts. They balance the very starchy attitude of the top. 

A chunky boot... that's what will anchor me.
