Teamed up with Aimee Song of insanely popular blog Song of Style to develop and produce the video announcing the relaunch of her site. The result is a simple day in the life video capturing the California lifestyle she embodies, with an introspective tone.
TREND SHOW & How-to video combo
POPSUGAR fashion was looking to revamp the look, feel and tone of their longest running style series Currently Trending. Breathing new life into the show meant creating a directional, glossy visual and zeroing in on valuable tips for viewers. Every episode would break down a hot new fashion trend.
CFDA: VERA WANG AWARD
The Council of Fashion Designers of America tapped Smuggler director Jun Diaz to create a wide-ranging set of films to introduce the honorees at its 2013 show. Jun was looking for captivating concepts to be shot on the grounds of a NY manor. This is the film for Vera Wang's Lifetime Achievement Award.
THe "it cut" with celeb stylist anh co tran
Tasked with upgrading Celebrity Secret Weapon for POPSUGAR beauty meant making it "TV ready" slick and energetic. The fresh spin: making it an "investigative" series, with of-the-moment, on the field coverage. CSW aired weekly on the re-launched TVGN, now POPtv network.

2009, Microsoft turns to CAA and Smuggler Productions for the launch of their new search engine. Going beyond traditional advertising, we created an all-out live event that would both educate and entertain. The Bingathon became Hulu's highest-ever rated live event that year! Credit: Head Writer.
MTV MEETS QVC
2007: a bold experiment in online shopping spearheaded by a team of creatives from production hot shop, Smuggler, in collaboration with advertising giant Droga 5. Publicity at launch included an 8 page cover story in Fast Company Magazine. Adweek called the content "revolutionary". Check out the reel for more about Honeyshed.

Geri and Erin of lifestyle destination, Leaftv were looking to develop a short-form "tips and tricks" show for The Design Network. This 5 episode series showcases the ladies' best lifestyle hacks in hopes of making viewer's lives easier and prettier.

This 30 minute docu-series follows the winner's experience and the designer's process from idea to hand cutting, to sewing, to the big reveal.
