Here's the full look:
First things first: this shirt is technically not a floral in a traditional sense. It's more of a botanical, but we'll put that aside.
The shirt on it's own is plenty look: bold color, LOTS of mashed up flowers, leaves etc. It's super busy and could have been worn with jeans. BORING! I minimize the AMOUNT of print by rolling up the sleeves.
Now the logic behind the shorts. I picked them because, although they're also a print, they're mostly neutral and almost all green. They're a "safe" print, acting almost as a neutral.
More logic: the palm print of the shorts is related to the botanical of the top. We are mixing plant life with plant life and giving ourselves LIFE.
